You got the labor in the vineyards &on the crush pads correct!
No holiday for the wine makers. Crush is "crushing" - it's the joy of a new winemaking season, an opportunity to make some wonderful wines from nature's annual gift of wine grapes.
You marvel at bins, crushers, and presses full of wine grapes - no way of synthesizing grape juice nor would we want to!
