The organizers have done a spectacular job. It is hard to believe that this is the first one of these ever held. I am quite impressed.

    As an atttending winery implementing a blog component, I was impressed with the concern re. ethics and credibility, sadly from my view, character traits generally on the decline in todays world. I applaud those concerned, it speaks very well of their character. I also applaud the dedication of bloggers in the fface of limited revenues - many do it solely for the love of wine and sharing of knowledge.

    Kudos to the WBC organizers and sponsors - what a TOTAL class act - future events have a difficult time topping this!!! Winegrowesr of Dry Creek Valley and Sonoma County Winegrape Commission, and Zephyr Adventures - and others, really, really stepped up to the plate!!! Wow!!! What an event and what great folks!!! Did I say WOW!!!

    Denise, it was wonderful meeting you and hanging out this weekend. I hope our paths cross often. Btw, sorry for making fun of your post walk sandwich just because we had such a fantastic meal at Michel-Schlumberger. Oops, did that come off as taunting again? Sorry! ;)

    Seriously, I wish I had gotten to taste the Rockaway, as well.
